About Me & The Spaces

Untitled

Aloha! My name is Sam Hume.

I first received a Hawaiian, or Lomi Lomi, massage seven years ago, and immediately knew I had to learn more. Having travelled the world and received bodywork modalities, like Thai, Ayurvedic, and Swedish massage, across many different countries and cultures - Lomi Lomi is different. The spirit of Aloha is about kindness and compassion, and with its holistic whole body approach you will feel blissfully nurtured and relaxed.

Lomi Lomi is often called the 'healing hands' massage, and my clients have reported feeling physically, mentally and spiritually restored. As one client put it - "it's like a hug for the soul".

My treatments are specifically tailored to the needs and comfort of each client to make sure they receive the approach that works best for them. Before each session I like to have a quick consultation to assess how you're feeling, and what you're hoping to get out of the treatment.

I can host you at two spaces in the Chew Valley:

The Roundhouse - A magical space, overlooking Chew Valley Lake, which is part of the Community Farm in Chew Magna. I'd invite you to allow some time afterwards to take a stroll, have a cup of tea and drink in the calm environment and stunning views.

The Garden Studio - This is a warm, calm and private space in my garden studio in Chew Stoke. Perfect for evenings where the roundhouse can get a bit cold. I can also offer reduced rates compared to the roundhouse.

I received my Level 3 diploma - recognised by the CThA and the FHT - from the world-renowned Hawaiian Massage trainer, Rosalie Samet.

Please be aware, I am a male Sam, but don't hold that against me! I strive to create a relaxing atmosphere and am happy to work with you however you are most comfortable.

When I'm not massaging, I'm doing my other jobs as a wildlife film-maker and writer, or trying to keep up with my two young daughters.

Please contact me to find out more.
